From November 6-17, global leaders will gather in Sharm-al-Sheikh, Egypt, for the 27th United Nations Conference of the Parties Climate Change Conference (COP27). The conference is an opportunity for nations, corporations, and global institutions to make commitments to reducing emissions that drive climate change.
Climate change could be responsible for the displacement of 200 million people by 2050. As global leaders commit to mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, they must also prioritize helping communities adapt to the impacts already happening on the ground.
